About us

We have not reinvented the industry. We have only developed what was missing.

Industry has ERP, MES and IoT. We have taken over the last meter to the worker on the shop floor. Because a shortage of skilled workers and quality pressure do not allow a blind spot.

The problem

Why the shop floor needs support

Manufacturing companies have invested heavily in digitalization. ERP, MES, IoT? The systems are there. But the reality at manual workstations is often different.

01 | Errors occur unnoticed

Instructions are in circulation as printed PDFs, in outdated folders or file versions, or simply do not exist. And only the correct version delivers correct results.

02 | Knowledge disappears with the people

The knowledge of how a task can really succeed without errors is often in the head of individual specialists. If this person goes, the knowledge goes.

03 | Transparency only exists to a limited extent

No one can really see for sure what is happening at which workstation and how. Test steps are carried out on demand, documentation is created retrospectively.

This is not a criticism of production. People in production work well. But they deserve systems that work just as well as they do.

Where we come from

Developed from 25 years of industry experience

weasl is not a startup that reinvents production processes from Silicon Valley. weasl was created in the middle of practice, driven by a team that has been developing in and for the shop floor of German industry for years.

Behind weasl is Connected Worker Intelligence GmbH, which was spun off from iSAX GmbH & Co. KG as an independent company in April 2026. The spin-off was not a break, but a conscious decision for focus and speed.

weasl - from worker assistance system to connected worker platform

Partner for industrial digitalization

iSAX GmbH & Co. KG establishes itself - initially as i.S.X. and i.S.A. - as a reliable integration and development partner for industrial digitalization

2004
weasl - from worker assistance system to connected worker platform

First Connected Worker projects

The first Connected Worker projects are created within the iSAX portfolio. weasl takes shape as a worker assistance system.

2018
weasl - from worker assistance system to connected worker platform

weasl grows into a platform

The system becomes a platform with customers such as Alpha Verteilertechnik, SCHOTT and Daimler Truck.

2025
weasl - from worker assistance system to connected worker platform

Spin-off of Connected Worker Intelligence GmbH

weasl becomes independent - for more focus, product development and internationalization.

2026

"Connected work is no longer a trend, it is the blind spot that industry and investors are discovering at the same time."

Robert Büchner, Managing Director

What we stand for

Knowledge that stays. Processes that work. Challenge accepted.

Mission

We make the last meter of production as reliable as the rest of the production process.

Each work step is digitally available in line with qualifications, documented in a traceable manner and equipped with the knowledge that workers need for error-free implementation, regardless of whether they are working on the first or last shift.

Vision

Production in which no knowledge is lost and no work step is wasted.

Networked, transparent, autonomous: employees at machines and assembly workstations work with the same level of information as their colleagues in work preparation and quality assurance.

Software for your production

Close to the practice

We develop software for people who produce, not for presentation slides. Every function arises from real requirements in real workplaces.

Intuitive work instructions

Priority simplicity

The best work instruction is the one that a worker actually reads and understands in the hustle and bustle of shift work. We build for real life.

Making knowledge available to all

Knowledge belongs to everyone

Experience should not be confined to the head of a single person. We build tools that make knowledge systematically available to everyone whenever they need it.

The weasl team

The people behind weasl

Behind weasl are people who have been working at the interface between IT and production for decades. They know how modern production works - and what can make it better.

Ecosystem

Strong roots, experienced partners, open platform

weasl is independent, but not an isolated solution. We emerged from one of the most experienced industrial digitalization companies in the DACH region.

iSAX as a strong root

With over 25 years of experience in the digitalization of manufacturing companies in the DACH region, iSAX has laid the foundation for what weasl is today.

A network for every requirement

weasl is backed by an established network of technology, integration and industry partners with the common goal of making production smarter.

More about our partner network

Open interfaces instead of isolated solutions

weasl integrates into existing system landscapes. No greenfield, no parallel data world - the platform fits into what is already there.
